A downloadable game for Windows

Who would have thought a simple letter from a "friend" would lead Tempus to their next great adventure? Not Regis Altare, leader of Guild Tempus, for sure.

Stumbling into the hands of a man simply known as "The Necromancer", Tempus finds themselves in a world of crystals and doom looming around every corner. As they traverse the maze of their captor, they begin to unravel a past long since lost to history.

Who is "The Necromancer"? What does he truly want from Tempus? Will these adventurer's be able to escape his plans and see the light of day together again?

FAQ

Q: I have some issues with the mouse controls, how do I fix them?

A: Although allowed, mouse input isn't the intended method of play. The lead programmer apologizes, but any issues resulting from this will likely need to be resolved by the user. We recommend playing with a controller.

Q: What are the controls?

A: The gamepad layout defaults to a Playstation-like control scheme where, on the right side of the controller, skip is the start button, confirm is the bottom button (x), menu is the top button (triangle), and cancel is the right button (o). These controls can be remapped in the game.ini file (the one with a gear icon over a piece of paper, not the game.exe used to run the game).  However, as even the programmer lacks documentation on what button represents which, it requires some experimentation.

Q: What kind of game is this?

A: Although a fan-game, this is a game heavily inspired by Fire Emblem. Specifically, the early GBA version of Fire Emblem. If you are familiar with them, you should be able to progress much more smoothly and pick up certain concepts. If not... the lead programmer apologizes in advance for the lack of helpful tutorials.

Q: How do I play in full screen?

A: You can try pressing F4, but SRPG Studio scales the game weirdly. It can't be fixed without rewriting a chunk of the engine or redoing quite a few assets, so sadly it stays the way it is now.

Q: Why does the save at the battle prep screen take me back to the beginning of the chapter?

A: No clue. It shouldn't, but that's the way it is. For now, press 'P' to skip previously seen cutscenes (or whatever button that it has been remapped to in the game.ini file).

Q: Why does Hakka keep multiplying his spears when giving them to Vesper?

A: This is a feature (half-joking). It doesn't really do much, but you can stockpile them if you want.

Q: How do I use the concept creatures?

A: They are auto-equipped on acquiring if there is space in the inventory of the corresponding member of Tempus. If there is not space, you can use it on the matching member in battle or from the convoy.

Q: The item descriptions and skills are unclear, how do I learn what they do?

A: Certain items and skills are meant to be cryptic (i.e. the six hidden pieces), but most item and skill descriptions can be viewed from the battle prep screen or in the unit battle menu. We have no idea why it does not show up in the actual item menu during battle, but will look into it.

Q: How do you get the true ending?

A: Recruit certain allies along the way.
